Household budget ยท No bank login

See where your household's money went last month, and what is left this month.

Most budgeting apps ask for too much: your bank password, an hour a week and a hundred dollars a year.

Bank connections break and need reconnecting. Envelope methods take weeks to learn. Since Mint shut down, the good options cost about $100 a year. HomeMargin keeps what matters: how much went out, how much is left, and what changed.

What HomeMargin fixes

Questions

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. HomeMargin never asks for your bank password. You photograph receipts or upload the statement your bank already gives you, as a PDF or screenshot.

Which banks work?

All of them: Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, Amex, credit unions. Download the CSV from your bank's website, or upload the PDF statement or a screenshot.

What happens to my photos?

They are only used to read the amounts and are not stored. You review every amount before it is saved.

Can my partner use it too?

Yes. Create an invite link in Settings. Each person has their own login and sees the same budget, at no extra cost.

Do I have to set a budget?

No. Without budgets you still see what you spent, what came in and what is left, against the month before. Add limits only where they help.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from the Billing page. Your data stays until you delete it.

Less spreadsheets, fewer surprises, more left over.
